CoTaCo : COndor TAsk COnverter V4.4 CoTaCo is a basic tool to convert Condor flight plans (.fpl) to XCSoar (.tsk), LK800 (.lkt) or SeeYou (.cup) tasks. It is also possible to create JSON files for cunimb.net It is also possible to convert SeeYou tasks (.cup) to Condor flight plans (.fpl) NEW FEATURES SINCE VERSION 4.1.2 : See changelog.txt VERSIONS 4.3 AND ABOVE ONLY HANDLE CONDOR 2 & 3. FOR CONDOR 1 USE VERSION 3.4 For XCSoar & LK8000, it is possible to create a profile file (.prf) with the following information: - airspace file (if penalty zones have been defined or for Condor 3) - map (.xcm or .lkm/.dem) - glider polar (.xcp / .plr) (fixed ballast is taken into account) - turnpoints file (.cup) Maximum departure and minimum finish altitudes are directly written to the converted task file If minimum or maximum altitudes are specified for a turnpoint, they will be written at the end of the turnpoint name (XCSoar only) and in the "comments" field AATs and Condor penalty zones are supported. INSTALLING : Uncompress the Zip file in the desired folder (which has to be writable) The CoTaCo folder should contain : - ChangeLog.txt: description of the updates - CoTaCo.bat : sample batch mode script (courtesy Erik P.) - CoTaCo.exe : executable file - CoTaCo_Manual_EN.pdf : English Version of the manual - CoTaCo_Manual_FR.pdf : French Version of the manual - CoTaCo_form.frm: forms definitions - CoTaCo_form_FR.frm = - CoTaCo_Setup_form.frm = - CoTaCo_Setup_form_FR.frm = - CoTaCo_LISEZMOI.txt : French Version of this file - CoTaCo_README.txt : this file - sample_transfer_script.bat : a sample file transfer script - Template.fpl : template used to convert .cup files to .fpl - zlibwapi.dll : zlib library The following files may be created or modified : - CoTaCo_maps.txt : list of XCSoar maps - CoTaCo_LK8000_maps.txt : list of XCSoar maps - CoTaCo.ini : settings file The CoTaCo.inifile will be created automatically at the first execution of the program if it does not exist. On this occasion it will be necessary to indicate some data. If you already have a CoTaCo.ini file from an earlier version, it can be reused : it will be updated and the old version will be renamed to CoTaCo_0000.ini or _0001, etc. if an older file already exists. It is possible at any time to modify the parameters ( [Setup] button) or to edit this file with a text editor (Notepad or other) to adapt it to the local configuration.
